Trans boy names?
So I'm just about ready to come out as a trans guy (ftm) but I'm stuck on the whole name thing. At the moment my name is Olivia Rose so I definitely need to change it but I can't decide on the right name. I think
I've always liked the names Alec and Luke but I don't know if they really suit me. I'm into playing guitar, drawing and play volleyball and soccer if that helps any names come to mind.
Any suggestions or opinions?

You could go the simple route and just pick the male version of Olivia like Oliver or Ollivar or you could pick something totally different like Alec and Luke
My advice is to just test a few names, maybe create characters online with certain name and see how it feels or ask your parents what they would have named you if you were born with the anatomy you should have.
There is no rush to pick a new name so just take your time, see what you like
I would recommend try different name see what you feel more happy with wish you luck I watch a lot of vlogs with people who as trans, I always hear ftm and mtf People trying different names at first when they decide to change their name.
Alec and Luke both sound nice. Maybe you could use them as middle names?
What I did was tried using online sites with what you would like to be your new name and see which ones feel the best to be called and what feels right

Had you considered asking for input from your parents? Maybe they had a male name they had picked out if you had assigned male at birth. It could be a nice bonding experience if they are supportive.
