contacts problem HELPPPPPPP
ust went for a contact fitting and they send me home because my eyes are too small and the lids are toughish and wont open as well. They tried and wasted two pairs. And im 14 and my pediatrican said i wouldn't grow anymore so neither will my eyes. Im sick of glassess . I was wondering will i ever get contacts in my life. Has anyone gone through this. :'(
SHould i risk and try again and practice trying to my eyelids foward. ANy tips in how and any opion what i should do. And has any had this problem

This is a bunch of baloney, I'm sorry, hearing about these situations make me so mad!
First off, if you want them, just because your eyes are small doesn't mean you can't have contacts, just because your eyelids are tight, doesn't mean you can't have them. What this really means is that your doctor didn't have the patience to work through it.
If you really want contacts, you need to practice pretending to put a contact in. Wash your hands, using one hand, with your middle finger pull your eyelid down, with the other hand, reach around your head and pin your eyelashes to your eyebrow, you need to get your eye as BIG as possible. Then with the hand that is holding your eyelid down (with only your middle finger), gently touch your eye (without flinching or blinking). Keep doing this until you can watch your finger come towards your eye and touch it without your eye panicking.
It takes some time and practice but once you got the hang of it, have your parents take you to a DIFFERENT doctor. You can do this, I have never seen someone with eyes too small however, I have seen impatient doctors....(sorry doctors...)
wait until your older and get lasik. It's permanent. Until then try getting a couple really cute pairs of glasses so you won't hate them so much.
if ur eyes are chinese style. then no.
