Does pinterest turn my facebook into a timeline?

I was about to make a Pinterest and sign up with my Facebook account, but when i was going to click the final "okay" i read underneath that it would automatically change my Facebook wall into a timeline. I HATE the timeline and I can't stand it. Is there any possible way to make a Pinterest without having to change my Facebook?

    pinterest only works with the timeline - it's required

    but you will eventually be converted to timeline anyways whether you want it or not

    I had to, which annoyed me. I had to take a sparkling %that substitute into as much as date (i don't upload photos very frequently) and appeared reliable and made me look incredibly. It took me a million hour to get all dolled up and in a reliable place to take a image for timeline! I wish they could delete it off, it is not something yet a nuisance

    It is going to change shortly anyway, so I don't see the dilemma.
