car radio problem no power?
hello a friend of mine was fotting a cd player in his car when he let one of the wires touch the metal casing of the cd player there was a spark and now the cd player wont work and all the wires are correctly done....did it blowa fuse....??

Theres also a fuse inside the head unit itself.
Get a multimeter, or a circuit tester light, and see if there's 12 volts going to the radio. If there is, I'd say it's a fair bet the radio is toast.
it's either blown an in line fuse or one in the fuse box. look to see if you have lost power to anything else, ie cig lighter/ interior light etc. if you have, go to the fuse box. if not look for an in line fuse. good luck.
yes u probably did. check the fuse box in your car, or maybe on the back of the deck.replace it and hopefully it works. good luck
yeah its either under the hood (the 12v fuse) or somewheres in the fuse pannels inside the car (accessory fuse)
