Do you buy a size up in coats?
I'm 15 and a girl and a S-M in shirts. I really want to buy this coat for winter because it's on sale but I don't know if I should get a M or a L. I've never had a coat before (where I live you usually don't need one) but it's gotten colder so I think it's going to be a useful buy. Anyways, should I get a M or a L in a coat? I don't want it to be tight in the arms but I also don't want it to be baggy. What do you think? I read the size chart but it didn't help. Thanks

i would definitely get the medium! the large might make you look bigger than you really are!
if your are going to be wearing bulky cloths underneath it, id go with the large. But if not, you'll be good with a medium. Maybe find a sweater in the store, put it on, then try the coat on over it and see.
What kind of coat?
I'd say a medium for sure.
