Help! Average report card grade?
I usually get 90's averages but I got 85 for the first marking period. I told me dad that I would improve but I got 85 AGAIN! What should I say to my parents?!?! please answer ASAP!!! thank you!!!
My mom asked me what I got and I had to tell her that I got 85. She wasn't happy and said that it's not that good.

your avg is in 90s. First of all, I think, you are a good student! Sometime things like getting couple lower scores, it happens. There is no need to worry at all. Parents want to hear their kids doing great in school, that is understandable. Just to tell them what happened. No need to worry. I am sure your parents will understand it.
For a good student like you, for the rest of the year, if you continue keep your score in 90s, it will bring the avg. back to 90s. No need to worry.

oh my gosh! that's a B! don't worry, my parents were like that too a bit, but really, if 85 is a bad day, you are quite lucky!
just make sure that you are turning in all of your homework. a mediocre grade on an assignment is better than not turning it in. keep current with your due dates, because turning things in on time (or even early) can improve a grade (versus from getting it in late). also, if you don't understand some of the subject matter, ask one of your parents or teachers for some help. they will definitely know you are trying by this, and possibly forgive you easier because they know you are using your resources.

ok calm down head problem be4 what i did what i did was tell my mom and dad that i really really tried but i will try my best to get it back up and i study 1 hour a day tell my card came aging and you know what i did better then my ave and my ave is about the same as yours also my bff told me that i should not freak out to much because 85 is not the worse thing to get because she has a big fat F in all her class so don't get to up set k
my parents are the same thing... when i got a 90 average in english, she freaked out... but it's mostly my english teacher's fault. she sits in class all day and never helps with our essays and stuff like that. if your parents aren't fully satisfied with your grade, then you should try harder, but don't stress yourself out... or find out if it's your teachers that are causing the trouble... maybe they are too lazy. you can speak to the guidance counselor for that.
tell them its a very high b and the reason ur grades are hoing down is b-cuz they neglect u/or ur stressing b-cus of all ur work/or b cuz u r 2 worried about them 2 focus
just Simply tell your mom You will try harder next time. don't try to make excuses or argue with your parents because chances are you won't win.
