Period: blood is dark red / brown?
I've been on the pill for a couple of years, and I had stopped using it early this year (to have a break) then started using it again a month a half ago (I'm on the second month now of using the pill again).
My period finished around 4 days ago (by the pill packet), but I've been spotting since then. I now went to the bathroom and noticed brown/maroon blood?
I'm not sexually active (I'm on the pill for my period) and I take extreme care for my personal hygein- so what's happening in my body?

Browner blood is often "older" blood - for instance, if you've been spotting it may have just taken longer for that bit to come out.
But color change is often perfectly normal.
"Sometimes you may notice that your menstrual blood becomes dark brown or almost black as you near the end of your period. This is a normal color change. It happens when the blood is older and not being expelled from the body quickly."
It's just your cycle adjusting to being on the pill. Red or brown just indicates older blood. Nothing to worry about
