Do you own a ped egg?

How grossed out are you when you empty it?

Update:

a ped egg is basically an egg shaped thing with a cheese grater attached to it to rub on your feet to remove dead skin and callouses.

  • No, but I have like a regular shaver thingy lol. I'm pretty grossed out, I just did it last night. I walk barefoot alot so I don't have the best feets.

  • I don't need to own a Ped Egg because I *make* rougher and tougher calluses instead of smoothing and removing them!

I use a handheld paddle cheese grater and have recently simplified to grating in an X shape in the direction from heels to toes (against the natural grain of the soles from toes to heel). Grating hard enough to just make shallow etch lines, and without cutting the toe pads, builds rougher and tougher calluses gradually after each grating and then going barefoot the same day of the next day. Not grating too often makes sure the calluses are not being etched faster than they can build up. As the calluses get even tougher, more pressure might be needed to make the etch lines, but again I am careful not to cut the toe pads.

  • I had a pink one like in 7th grade. I would sit there all day and be so fascinated with the dead skin. Never grossed out though. Haha i was disappointed when I barely had any dead skin. I lost my ped egg need to buy new one.

  • No,, I don't own a ped egg

    always,

p.s. I exfoliate with a pumice stone in the shower and moisturize :)

  • What's a "ped egg"?

  • yes I do. I actually wasn't that grossed out. It's not that awful.

  • omg im so glad im not the only one who doesnt know what that is

...thats why i didnt want to be the first to answer so i waited lol

  • Ew that's some nasty stuff. I exfoliate instead, I can't deal with that.
