You seem to enjoy making a strong impression in your photos. Either you show a charming smile or a serious stare. The serious stare could cause someone to think of depression or coldness. Take the comment in context. IF at the time you are deep in thought, say so. If you are bored tell them that. If you specific feelings can explain you facial expression share those feelings. Depression is not just about facial expressions. It involves changes in eating, sleeping, feeling hopeless, helpless, wortheless. If YOU think you are depressed call a hotline and speak with someone about what is bothering you or that you just don't feel anything ( also a symptom of depression). If you bothered that you feel people are misreading you open up and explain yourself.

The from above angle makes the face look a bit sadder. Looking up into the camera has an effect like a puppy with big sad eyes. You have black eyeliner on, and you have no expression. Your mouth is flat, no smile or grin or anything.
Wow you're gorgeous! I love your eyes! Anyway, I have the same downward slant to my mouth like you have and people always tell me I look depressed or mad but the truth is its the way my mouth slants. That expression is prolly the way your face feels most relaxed huh. Just ignore people who comment that cos they dont know you!

You have a beautiful face, but you don't look very happy. You look more thoughtfull than playfull. Theres nothing wrong with thoughtfull, but if I was your age, and with your looks, I'd have a great big smile on my face.
you've got sad eyes and your mouth droops a tad at the corners which usually looks depressed, honestly it just means you were relaxed but w/e

you are fine sweetie. don't worry about it. you are GORGEOUS and that's the way God made you...one thing awesome is that when you are finally comfortable with yourself as you are it is muuuuuuuuch easier to put the attention on other people and other subjects....God designed everything about you and you are so beautiful and i really really want you to know that! i truly mean it!!!

i don't think u look depressed. i just think easier on the eyeliner bc of ur naturally light skin...but no u dnt look depressed.
