RE: How to mix 2 stroke fuel.2 stroke oil with unleaded petrol.? I have bought a second hand spear and jackson petrol hedge trimmer. I am using makita DOLMAR 2 stroke oil in a 100ml container. How much fuel mix does this oil make....ei: how many mililitres for one gallon or 5 litres of unleaded fuel.
All Jap bikes have run on unleaded since the very early 70's, may even be late 60's for some.
Some people might tell you that old two strokes need lead for piston and ring lubrication, but that's just an old wives tale. It will probably run cleaner on unleaded.
can not see why not its a two stroke so no valves to burn out that was the main problem with unleaded just use a good two stroke oil , + jap bikes were designed to run on crap petrol
I know jap bikes don't run well on diesel ;-) I think I should buy a petrol car so I don't get into bad habits. I'm after an old LC myself
Absolutely fine to do so,i have used it in my suzuki ap50s,1976/1977 for a number of years now.most japanese engines are designed to run on low lead fuel.
all jap bikes wiil run on unleaded . even old ones !
any petrol will do
