  • Before you go for a hardware upgrade; check if you are infected by some malware; Also check if there are too many programs in your startup list. These programs running in the background could slow your pc down.

Use tools like anvir takmanager; which will tell you about different programs and services loaded to the memory every time you start the pc. And also about their memory and disk usage. Show no mercy to memory and processing power hogging applications!

  • I agree with JT232010

If you haven't properly installed the card drivers, windows will use it as a basic plug and play card and will downgrade the graphic performance on your computer A LOT.

A great way to tell if the driver is not working, scroll down a large web page, you would see the screen refreshing constantly, like a ripple going down the page.

I also noticed you have 6GB of RAM, which means you are using a 64bit OS, Make sure you get the 64bit driver for your card off the AMD website.

  • did you uninstall the previous graphic card drivers before you installed the new one? and if you did, did you do a full uninstall (to the point where if you plugged in the previous GFX card, the computer wont recognise it? this could be one factor, but could be a number of things. however, if you didn't have any problem with it before, then it wont be a CPU, might be some video input conflict when you changed GFX card.

but again, i'm just guessing :P

    try this:

  • Processor = the main factor, it handles each and every thing from AI to particular snap shots appropriate activities RAM = The Random get entry to memory, it facilitates this gadget to no longer could discover each and all the archives from the HDD (sluggish) yet rather unearths it from the RAM, like a SSD picture Card = Shaders particularly, and hardware sped up snap shots. that's considerable in case you desire great-HD high quality snap shots, yet no longer in case you do no longer care lots approximately shading and HD high quality. it may additionally help distinctive reflects (like the Eyefinity) and it methods 3-D snap shots on occasion First: Processor 2nd: RAM *snap shots card comes very close third: snap shots Card *observe: you do no longer choose extreme quantities of RAM, 8GB is relatively over adequate. yet 4GB gets finished actual; I propose 8GB anyhow.

  • Your processor is fine check your ram 1 or 2 might have blown as putting graphics card into comp can do it . also try this prog http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download install and run cleaner might help .

Edit :: Also make sure your colour settings are 32bit that could help and change resolution to a steadier role i recomend 1024

  • maybe you dont have the right video driver for your card installed. go on the amd/ati website and find the right driver. make sure to uninstall the one you have first!
