No it's not that much older then you, I think the maximum should be 12 years, and your age difference is not bad at all.
edit: Yeah sis so do I. Boys tend mature slower then girls...so it's better to marry someone a few years older, rather then someone your age.
Age differences matter less the older the pair of you get.
