which do prefer pokemon or digimon?
which do you like better and whats your favorite episode of that show?
I prefer digimon its very deep and emotional sometimes & pokemon well its not.
My favorite episode of digimon is from adventure 02 when Ken's brother dies and he feels responsible then he goes all emo & crap lol.

It's funny that you brought this up. Before Digimon came out I used to watch PokeMon so when I watched Digimon for the first time I laughed since the animals could talk. After that though I watched it more and more and got into the story. Then I noticed how the story progression was and it hooked me. I watched two seasons of the series before calling tt quits because they changed characters and everything so the ambiance and texture of the series was changed to something different. I think it didn't do good because of this and that's why PokeMon is still on and Digimon isn't. I think they should have stayed with the original characters and progressed everything from there rather then just make a completely new storyline. When I was in high school my friend liked the series so much that he made a small book with a really dark theme using the characters of Digimon. Overal all it was a good series done in by it's own sucess.
Are you really going to make me choose? I love them both (the originals, not the new stuff). I love digimon because of the concentration on plot and its characters. I also love pokemon because it was the first anime that i absolutely loved. i loved all of the adventures they would go on and i loved to see all of the different pokemon.
If I had to choose....I'd say pokemon. But digimon will always have a special place in my heart.
Digimon. I liked Pokemon before but after like twenty episodes, it becomes really really repetitive:
first they go off to some place and meets someone, then they find a problem, team rocket appears and gets blasted off as usual, after the commercials, you see them half dead in a tree or something and then it's a happy ending again

Well, it's been a long time since I watched either of those, but I'd have to say my favorite is Pokemon. My favorite episode is the one where Charizard leaves Ash's team. It must be my favorite because that's the only one I clearly remember. Like I said it was a LONG time ago (well, 6 or 7 years seems like a long time to me...)

pokemon. i prefer the lighter stuff. plus i saw pokemon first and digimon being so similar just didn't interest me that much.
