Hi I visited my dentist a few months ago. and he suggested I get my wisdom teeth removed as they are side on. But my concern is I have no pain and I'm 42 years old .so im scared of the risks more then the removal at my age.
My wisdom teeth were regular teeth - not impacted, not crocked, nothing.
As a result, I never considered taking them out.
Then one day, one broke. So it was removed.
OH MY GOSH!! It's the craziest thing but it felt like my teeth fit better in my mouth without it. I had all the rest removed. Since there was no problem before, it's not like they hurt or anything. But I like it a lot better with them gone.
If yours are not in position, you should have them removed.
Don't be scared. Mine were impacted, all four of them, and the dentist had to break them before he could pull them out. I never felt a thing. I just had to go back about 2 weeks after to have the stitches pulled out and that was that.
