Is Pizza Obama a good name for my pizza restaurant?

I have a friend who's name is Obasniev and my name is Mark. First letters of our names combine "Obama"

Do you think this could be a good name for our new opening pizza restaurant?

  • No people will assume that this is something to do with Obama and you may get sued. Its a stupid name just come up with something else..

  • Bargain Pizza Cheapo Pizza Budget Pizza Economical Pizza Real Buy Pizza

  • With a name like that don't expect republicans in there ever! Not to mention when they order from you they'll assume u mean the president and want a restaurant/menu to match with presidential and obama themes! You may have a ton of lieberals in your town flock to you opening week to try your food and may just run away once they realize its not a president them or another gimmick BUT that could be a great hook if the food is great they may keep coming back regardless! So if you're going to do it buy into a theme or gimmick or make sure u put a sign out front that answers all the questions your and your employees will ask about the name choice

  • How about Markneiv Pizza? And people won't think you're mocking a president.

  • Terrible name. Everyone will think it's President Obama and his name isn't associated with pizza at all.

  • Not really. Most people won't get that its a play on your names and think it is related to the President. Obama just doesn't make me think "good pizza".

  • No too political ppl that don't like Obama won't come there even if ur pizza is good.

  • No because people may think it's a reference to President Obama.

  • Choose a name that will be good for the next owner, in case it is a success and you wish to sell it in the future. Don't choose a "fad" name. Obama wil be out of office next term, and people will consider that name odd for a restaurant.

  • When I take a bite of pizza, I don't want to think, "Mmmmm. What a tasty president."
