Windows Photoshop problem?

Hello

I'm using a 2008 version of Photoshop for Windows.

When I go to use the 'Clone Stamp Tool,' it says 'Could not use the clone stamp tool because the area to clone has not been defined. (Alt+Click to define a source point)." I did just that but I keep getting the same message. It works fine using a mac. What could be the reason for this?

    You have to alt+click on the correct layer that has the image on it.

    Make sure you don't have anything selected before you alt+click

    Are you actually using alt+click or are your fingers accidentally going to what you are used to on the Mac ;D
