You can't decide a dogs health from the moisture on its nose. Their noses are not 'supposed to be wet' at all. Dogs can have either a wet or dry nose, it really doesn't matter (only in some extreme cases of course)
The only animal that is supposed to have a wet nose 24/7 is a cow.

Mine dog's nose goes dry sometimes. Nothing to worry about. The idea that a dry nose is a sign of a sick dog is just a myth.
My dogs nose gets dry sometimes but nothing bad happens, don't worry about it
Dog's noses tend to be dry when they are asleep.
That just meens she needs water shes prob dehindrated!
