First make some notes (put on a paper all those important things of it), then when you've done those notes try to use a lot of adjectives (they take space) and put there your own opinions about the thing (teacher thinks that you are really interested in the subject and that you really care.) Font should be 12, Arial and if you can put some pictures on there, use chapter divisions whenever you change to subject and then put all titles with a bit bigger font. Good luck!
Start with brain storming ideas, or, if you have no idea about the topic, then look it up in articles and then try to group the ideas discussed in the articles. Then discuss each group in a section. To make it appear longer, here are some tips:
Use transitional paragraphs.
Make two introductory paragraphs instead of just one; one with a general idea about the topic and the other with a preview.
Paraphrase, and try to use longer sentences.
Also, if the last line in the paragraph ends at the middle of the line, try to stretch words and phrases so the last word is in the next line.
Think through the stuff that you read and provide some criticism of research at the end of the essay.
I hope this helps Good Luck
