repeal all free trade agreements ?
i will vote for the first candidate to say we get rid of them all . we learned all they were good for was CEOS , they cost millions jobs , they put downward pressure on wages , and they eventually collapsed our economy . Prohibition was a noble experiment , it didn't work out , congress repealed it . free trade ain't working out , when will a brave candidate propose this to bring home the jobs ?

If we raise our tariffs other countries will follow suit. This has been the common denominator in depressions throughout history. We need markets to send our goods to as much as other countries need to send products here. What collapsed our economy was the number of foreclosures that happened it had nothing to do with free trade. If anything having free trade muted the damage that the financial crisis could have caused.
Yes. first, let's give up that thing where we replaced gold as the world monetary standard, with the federal reserve note. Then let's isolate ourselves, and bully foreign nations competing against us with blockades and sanctions, like we did Japan during the late 30's-early 40's.
Oh yea, and that nasty ole NAFTA, where Canada is required to supply us with oil in the event of an embargo or shortage, before meeting their own needs. We sure got the bad end f that deal.
