Do you like my proposed 3 team trade?
Cubs Rays and Rockies
Cubs acquire Evan Longoria
Rays acquire Troy Tulowitski
Rockies acquire Javier Baez and Albert Almora
Last night Curt Schilling suggested that the Cubs could use one more big bat to fit behind Rizzo so he wasn;t walked so much. How about Longoria, and move Bryant to left? Rays with great pitching cannot afford to lose a big bat so give them Tulo Rockies get Baez who could be a threat in the thin air at Coors to replace Tulo and with Bryant moving to left Cubs can include prospect Almora as well.

So the Rays trade their home grown star (who does get hurt a lot) for another star who is higher priced and gets hurt even more. Makes total sense for them.
Excellent, because teams just love giving stars away to appease some fan.
