when i apply mascara it doesn't make my eyelashes curly-ish it just adds an extra layer of blackness on my eyelashes. pleasseee help. everyone else i see that puts on mascara has curly eyelashes
Use an eyelash curler! You have to pump it a few times and hold down for about 10-20 seconds and it should curl your lashes! A good one is the Tweezerman eyelash curler or even the ELF one. After you do that, use a waterproof mascara that is on the dry side. This will hold the curl all day. If your mascara is too wet then it will weigh down the lashes and make them straight. I recommend Maybelline Falsies (in purple tube) and Covergirl LashBlast Volume mascara (orange tube). Maybelline Lash Discovery is also great! Hope this helps!
I use an eyelash curler if I want curly lashes, but it takes forever (like 20 seconds) and I don't have that kind of time, so I hold a spoon behind my lashes and apply it then. As it dries I keep applying more. Mine is a little chunky, though, so if it gets too bad, just switch mascaras.
The solution is super simple! Just pick up an eyelash curler at your nearest drug store, make up store or pretty mutch any place that sells cosmetics! They're the little metal things that have handles like scissors and a curved and padded claming end, that look kinda scary but trust me they do not hurt at all!! They're pretty inexpensive and usually last a longgggg time:) I usually apply a thin layer of mascara, then curl, then another layer of mascara and voilà!
use an eyelash curler! but make sure that your mascara isn't too heavy so you can put more layers for volume. i always use a lengthening mascara first to declump my lashes and then a volumizing one. again make sure you buy the light kinds
you probably need to get an eyelash curler to make them curlier. there are also methods of doing this with a regular teaspoon from the kitchen. make sure your mascara wand is not too gloopy and you apply mascara after curling so its cleaner

Get a lash curler. Cover Girl makes a good one. Curl lashes, then apply mascara.
You have to use an eyelash curler before you put on mascara. Also, using a waterproof macara will help the curl stay in place.
You can get an eyelash curler just about anywhere you can buy make-up. They are pretty easy to use as well.

1st curl ur lashes with an eyelash curler. I find that regular mascara doesn't help so get waterproof mascara (it holds the curl better)!

You could buy an eyelash curler from target, walmart, or any drugstore and then apply the mascara on the curled lashes!
