My computer reads my iPod as a camera?

Something happened a few months ago and I had to switch computers for my iPod. So I moved all of my music to my other computer and the computer would read it as a digital camera.. but it still worked for itunes. Now, itunes doesn't recognize the device and my computer management says that my iPod is a "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver".

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but it keeps on downloading it as a digital camera driver! Can somebody help me please!?

Update:

Maybe I didn't state this clearly enough... Everything is NOT okay.. My iTunes no longer recognizes my iPod and see's it as a digital camera. It has no photos on it.

All it will do is charge when its plugged in. I can't add or remove songs from on my iPod.

  • No nothing is wrong it is due to the fact that you have photos on it, like on a touch you may use it to import photos.

  • On a mac, visit iPhoto, decide on your itouch on the left, click on the iPhoto menu, opportunities, regular, and set the 'Connecting digicam opens" to no application. i'm sorry about pcs. i recognize this is conceivable yet i don't have one so i do not recognize how.
