How do I get into a CSU?
I never took the SAT's and it's too late to take them and apply. A lot of my friends have gotten accepted already and I do not know if that was for early admission. Can I still get into one? Or is Community College the best bet?

I would recommend that you go to a local community college. Make sure to talk to their transfer department/counselors/office so that you're taking classes that will transfer to a CSU. You'll end up graduating at about the same time and spending/borrowing a lot less money.
If you live in the 4.1.5, I think you need to take the SAT's to get into SF State, but I'm not sure. You can get into community college without really anything (ccsf.edu), but for State specifically, when I applied, you needed a 2.0. I can't remember if SAT's were required, you might want to check.

if you go to the website, it looks like you need to take the SAT's on this page:

(look down for more I wrote)
it's possible that they'll let you in without taking the SAT, if you call the school and talk to them about it. Who knows? I don't want to get your hopes up, though.
You might still be able to take the ACT, though.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with community college(city, since I go there), and it's really up to you. If you want to get a bachelor's, you will have to apply again in maybe two years, if you keep your grades okay.
I hope you make the right decision, State I think takes the SAT's, but hopefully you'll know how to apply to city.
*********OOPS!!!!--it actually says if your GPA is above a 3.0 you do not need to take the tests. Call State, they might be able to tell you more.
actually, I might be wrong about the 2.0 thing, I think I'm right, but...
the point is, if you have above a 3.0 you don't NEED to But it says they recommend you take the tests anyway to get into State. (or a CSU, I guess)
So hopefully what I wrote makes sense, and you'll know what you need to do
umm yea you kinda need to take the SAT's, it also depends on ur GPA, and which CSU u want to go to. but maybe u should go down to the college and ask around in the register office, see wat the can do for u, but if not, yeah, community is ur best bet.
i attended a csu...yea u gotta take it or the Act..
if u you didnt
tough luck..go to a comm college for two years
and transfer there or even to a UC
dont sweat college is freakin borin (academic wise haha)..
im finished with it!! graduated!
u can still apply to a couple cal states like csula, u dont need SAT if ur gpa is above 3.0.
