Hi Michael. I have leukemia. As the other two people said, it is the chemo that causes hair loss. I have to take chemo every single day. I used to have such lovely hair, now I have about 1/3 of it. But if I didn't take the chemo, I wouldn't be here to complain about it.

The cancer treatment Chemo-Therapy is what causes hair loss, not the actual cancer its self.
You go bald from the chemotherapy.
