Temporary Hair Color?
I have always wanted to dye my hair a darker brown [it's currently light brown], but I hate how permanent dye can damage your hair and the fact that you have to redye it if you don't like the color.
Does anyone have suggestions of TEMPORARY hair color [dark brown] that only lasts a few weeks?

There are PLENTY of temporary hair color.. just look at the box and it will tell you what level color they are.. for instance... level 3 is for permanent color.. level 2 is I THINK that after 28 times you wash your hair, the color would wash out.. and level 1 is fewer times washed than level 2!
Hope you understood what I wrote.. if not, when you go to the store ask someone to help you get a color that isn't permanent.
Good Luck!
i might in no way have confidence what a container says and not in common terms via fact i'm a stylist. I spoke back this in part in yet another question... yet while a coloration is unquestionably non everlasting, it is going to incorporate NO AMONIA or AMONIA DERIVITIVES. if it DOES incorporate amonia, it motives the cuticle to swell, allowing the colour molecules to penetrate the hair shaft. as quickly as the cuticle closes backpedal the molecules are then trapped in and it takes an prolonged time to get all of them out. whether that's certainly non everlasting, the colour molecules basically lie on the exterior of the hair shaft virtually coating it, which may well be washed away in 6-8 shampoos. Now this could exchange finding on the porosity of your guy or woman hair. Blondes, working example can use a non everlasting coloration, and it make no longer wash out for a number of months, basically via fact their hair is greater porous (porosity- the hairs skill to hold onto moisture). wish this facilitates.
You should try a strand test which is cut a piece of hair and dye the color you want and see if you like it or not otherwise use a rinse which is no ammonia so it doesn't wash out it fades in 20 washes.
No temporary har colors don't usually create such a bold difference. Why not try Clairol. They make a gentle permant hair color treatment. That really changes the color of your hair.
Clairol has a product called "Natural Essence". It last 24 shampoos. However using it on light hair and going darker it may last as long as 3 months. (I use it to color my blond hair red just for fun)
get one of the color foams...they actually wash out without doing any damage, but if you go more than 2 or 3 shades darker they can stain the hair and will not was out all the way
i dont know about temporary color but they do have restoring shampoos and conditioners. these fix the harmful effects of hair coloring.
if u want to dye your hair , GO FOR IT ! just make sure that if you are doing it yourself you read the box carefully...and even if something did go wrong , ..........
hair grows !
so dont hesitate , just do it
