Algebra 2 problem help?

I'm in Algebra 2 and I have this problem I'm having trouble with. I took Algebra 1 two years ago, so I don't remember much. The problem is:

(the "/" represent fractions)

3.8/1 x 1/12.01 x 22.4/1

The answer has to be in a fraction.

If you can, tell me how you got the answer. Thanks for your help :)

  • Ok Sabrina--

You are multiplying 3 fractions....just multiply the numerators ==> 3.8*1*22.4 and multiply the denominators ===> 1*12.01*1and then see if you can simplify via common factors....and there don't appear to be any.

so your fraction would be 85.12/12.01.
