Associates vs Bachelors degree?
I know for an Associates I have to take required classes of variety such as English and Math. But, if I were to aim straight for Bachelors would I be able to only focus on classes contributing to my Major? For example a Major in math areas wouldn't require English courses.
Is this correct?

Bachelor's degrees almost always require a wide range of subjects. If you major in math, you would have to fulfill requirements such as science, art, and writing before you can graduate.
A bachelor's degree is usually 2 years of foundation and general requirements, then two years more concentrated on your major. Most universities don't require that you declare a major until the end of your second year.
In a bachelors program the more ambitions students start their major immediately, doing a mixture of general courses and courses required for the major. Just in case they need to repeat a course or in case a required course is not available every semester.
And every student takes some English classes.
