ok i do NOT remember when my lmp was, and my doctor says my due date is jan 23, but in august i went to another doc in another city and he told me my due date was jan 14, now the problem is that on my doctors computer it says my due date is jan 12 so how can i know which due date is correct?

  • trust me the due date event the doc cannot tell if they did not have the computer. It is not the doctor who tell u the due date but the computer and it is correct because it gives the date after reading the size and development in the fetus . sometimes it can be a little incorrect by a week or so but it has nothing to get alarmed about it just means that the reading was not taken correctly. Another thing the person to explain u will be the doctor . Dont get worried go to him and ask him what u want to know he will explain u better .Bu i have a request that please do let me know what he tells u.

    Best of luck and

  • I think you just asked this question. I would use the due date according to your last menstrual cycle because it goes by the nine months, but since you aren't sure I would use the January 23rd date. You might have known back when you talked to your first doctor. Otherwise use the middle date. Babies are constantly growing at different rates.

  • when your that far along you due date can change several times. esspecially when you never knew lmp from the begining. they predict it by the exact measurements and at times it can grow more times than others thats why. just depends on the babies growth rate from week to week.

  • It's probably either the 12th or 14th. He could have been wrong or said the wrong date for the 23rd without realizing it (doctors are human too..lol).
