Fantasy Baseball Trade
I play in an ESPN standard rotisserie 10 team league and I am currently in first.
I send Dustin Pedroia, Bos 2B and Xavier Nady, NYY RF
I receive Garrett Atkins, Col 3B, Joakim Soria, KC RP, Jason Isringhausen, StL RP
I don't really have a need for Atkins who is only eligible to play in positions already covered by lance berkman and kevin youkilis on my team.
Though I could replace Pedroia with Howie Kendrick and Nady with Juan Pierre.
I do need RP's though. These are my current pitchers:
Justin Verlander, Det SP
Daisuke Matsuzaka, Bos SP
A.J. Burnett, Tor SP
Brian Wilson, SF RP
B.J. Ryan, Tor RP
Cliff Lee, Cle SP
Trevor Hoffman, SD RP
Gavin Floyd, CWS SP
C.J. Wilson*, Tex RP DL15
Tim Hudson*, Atl SP DL15
Should I accept this trade?

I'd think for what you are giving up you'd be able to get better closers. Soria is good but isringhausen is pretty awful and isn't even necessarily their closer. I'd look elsewhere to see if you could get a batter you could actually use and better closers.
Yes, you should accept this trade. Despite solid athleticism Pedroia doesn't flash great overall tools. Has to get by on his baseball IQ and work ethic. Doesn't make great use of solid speed. Nady doesn't have enough plate discipline to become an all-star performer. Lacks the mobility to play the outfield with aplomb. Strikes out a lot. Atkins just plain knows how to hit and has good plate discipline. Knows how to come through with runners aboard. Soria has a live fastball and plenty of weapons to rack up impressive strikeout totals. Is a cool customer that can be trusted in the ninth inning. Isringhausen has a good fastball and a dominant curve as his out-pitch, he is a prototypical closer. Is gritty in late-inning situations and tough on righties. If you could get someone else instead of a Isringhause that would be great because Isringhausen is just terrible this year, he should be doing better.
