Medical Assistance Cover Pregnancy...?

I'm pregnant and my husband and I qualify for Medical Assistance. One of our options is Blue Plus (pmap).

Do you know if that covers labor and delivery costs? I can't find any information on this plan other than what clinics they work with.

  • If you do enroll in Blue Plus Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP), be sure to join "Healthy Start® Prenatal Support...[,] a support program for pregnant members. It connects moms-to-be with a specially trained nurse who talks with you regularly by phone for extra health support. You’ll get helpful materials and up to $100 in gift cards for being in the program. If you begin the Healthy Start program in your first 20 weeks of pregnancy, you will get a $50 gift card. If you talk with a nurse over the phone throughout your pregnancy, you will get another $50 gift card after your baby is born. More about Healthy Start (PDF)" at http://www.bluecrossmn.com/bc/wcs/groups/bcbsmn/@m... which also discusses more gift cards that you can get for buying car seats and having the baby tested for lead.
