how do i get my pictures on my ipod onto my computer?

my ipod touch broke (water damage) but when i plug it in to itunes it still syncs and shows its working. so i think my touch screen doesn't work so i want to get all of my pictures on my ipod touch off and onto my computer.

    Pictures on the iPod don't show up in iTunes so don't look there. Go into my computer and your iPod should be showing as an external camera. Go into it and your pictures should be there.
