Does a pomeranian's face change?
Hi, i have a 14 week old pomeranian. I have been looking at pictures of other pomeranians and the ones on the official AKC site have shorter snouts. Can pomeranians look different? As you can see, mine has a longer snout than normal. Did they lie to me when I bought him? Thanks.

Yep, she's a Pom just not a "show-quality" pom. If you were to enter her in dog shows, it wouldn't be allowed. I had a Pom who had the standard for the face, a very short snout. But her body was much longer than your average Pom. She was a pure-bred though. It's like how you can have apple-head Chihuahuas that are on the tiny side (show quality), and deer-head Chihuahuas who are tall (pet quality). Either way, the dog's still a dog. =]
Yes, they can look different. But it all depends on whether they are show or pet quality. My pom had a really short snout, but it has grown out further now. Your pom is pet quality, and there's nothing wrong with that!
Good luck with your puppy!

No, yours just isn't breed standard. It's pet quality, not show quality. Though it shouldn't matter if it's a pet
It's probably bad quality.
May I ask where you got the puppy?
don't worry about that,he's cute!
