Extra Yahoo email address ".com" not ".co.uk"?

I have an existing Yahoo.co.uk email address and would like to use the function to add en extra address. However, when options are suggested, it does not show the .co.uk or .com suffix. I assume it is suggesting .co.uk addresses. But I would like to add a ".com" address, as it is shorter. Is this possible?

    i am not sure if it could work but i know you can log in anywhere iregardless of a .com or .co.uk.

    I will be interested to find out if it could work too although i am contented with a .co.uk

    Yes. Go onto the USA yahoo website and add the email from there.
