  • good that I discovered this question. I owned a length 4600, and maximum fashions got here with a 300w PSU, so sure it may take care of that 7600 GS, I even have faith it or no longer had that comparable PNY Geforce 7600 GS, and that i could say, it extremely is an ok photographs card, i might in my view decide for a Evga Geforce 7600 GT 512MB DDR2 AGP 8x photographs card, or maybe a 7800 sequence AGP in case you will detect one. in case you do decide for the 7600 GT or 7800 GS i might then improve your PSU to a 400w or 450w PSU. sure the RAM is robust RAM, i might surely get the RAM. I nevertheless have my length 4600 and it extremely works good, even with the undeniable fact that it extremely is barely there in case my new center 2 Duo fails impulsively. in case you have anymore questions, please inquire from me, i'm going to gladly proceed with this subject rely. Have a advantageous day Ken

  • ignore the other answer many laptops have 1024Mb(1Gb) of ram and much more, check in the bios that all 128 Mb are allocated to the video and upgrade the ram to 2 Gb you can't upgrade or change most laptop video cards, for what you do it's fine unless you go to high end gaming where advanced video cards are necessary and laptops with those are EXPENSIVE

  • You need DEDICATED graphics... the one you have now CANNOT be upgraded. It's built-into the motherboard.

I highly recommend picking up a new laptop if you want to do gaming... here is the best "bang for the buck" believe me... I do computers for a living dude...

Look there for the best most popular laptop deals right now, and get one with DEDICATED VIDEO and at least 4GB of memory. You should be set for anything.

Also, its expensive but get the new i7 laptops if you can, TONS faster! You can never slow Intel i7 down.... never.
