Does Fedex deliver Packages Early ?

I was wondering if Fedex delivers the packages ahead of estimated Date or in the exact same day that they say. Cause U.P.S they deliver on the day they say like estimated date

Estimated Delivery 9-13-11

    Very rarely early (> 1%). Much more common (> 2%) is that they will be a day late.
