Do you have a pet?
what kind do you have? what is its name? I am thinking of getting a dog, but i am not sure what kind. i want one that would be good with cats and with small kids (i have nieces and nephews who visit alot) i think i prob will go to the pound to adopt one.

1 small terrier mix dog named Rosie...and my husband has 2 cats -- Snow and Spot...If you want a dog that is good with cats getting them as a puppy is the way to go about it....Once they are cat chasers it is almost impossible to break that behavior...Adopt and you will get so much love...My Rosie was adopted after being rescued...She had been severely abused and starved...and she is well nourished and sassy now....Good luck with whatever you decide...

I have a White German Shepard named Blackjack, a black and white cat named Abitt, and a kinda orange/brounish cat named Mini.
Altough I don't have personal experience with the different breeds of dogs I don't think you can go wrong with a Lab.
I have a one- eyed Siamese cat called Pirate. Definitely adopt from the pound , lots of great animals there who need loving homes !
I have three standard poodles. Socrates, Plato and Wookie. One of the best breeds for children would be Golden Retrievers. Poodles (standard) are good, but they require a lot of grooming.
