They are both dangerous. It depends on how severe it is (how much criteria they meet). A narcissist who meets all the criteria is more dangerous than a sociopath who just meets enough criteria to pass. I think that would also dictate how easy it is to spot them. You cannot beat them at their games because they don't play by the same rules we do. If you go out and try to do what they do, you won't be able to get away with it. You'll meet plenty of obstacles and have lots of resistance. They don't because they believe that their way of thinking and seeing things is legitimate. A full blown narcissist will tell you they're going to kill you and somehow have the entire world on their side whereas a sociopath will go about getting away with murder matter-of-factly since they have no remorse or empathy. They'd be more likely to get away with it simply because their emotions aren't getting in the way.
You cannot beat them at their own game because it isn't a game to them. They believe what they believe and think the way they think and your best bet is to just stay away from them. As long as you know how they think and what their behavior means, you will be able to protect yourself.
A sociopath is the more dangerous. Beating either at their own game would depend on how intelligent each is. Being a sociopath or a narcissist does not necessarily mean someone is intelligent.
Depends. The elite sociopath plays a dangerous game, and is generally quite good at it. A narcissist just wastes their life admiring themself. It takes a special breed of narcissist to be dangerous, but they are even more dangerous than 97% of sociopaths. A narcissist is easily spotted & destroyed however. Not unlike an acid fiend. Unfortunately you rarely get a great response when you hand a narcissist a knife and mirror then start talking about bugs under the skin .

Many are one in the same, though narcissism tends to be a symptom of psychopathy.
It depends what symptoms are with the narcissism, as a psychopath is far more dangerous than a sociopath.
A regular person who happens to be a narcissist is far less dangerous than a sociopath.
