Do temporary jobs seldom become permanent?
I came from a temporary agency for the job I do. I am there 3 months. Some regular employees ask if I can get hired on and I say I don't know and they don't know either. There are 7 temporaries. Of the 7 people 2 were there a month before me and the rest after. Should I expect the company to hire me on or will I be working for the agency for a long time to come?

Why should they hire a temp? They don't have to give any benefits like paid vacations or health insurance to a temp.
Is the assignment temp or temp-to-perm? If "temp," there is little to no chance of permanent job. With so many temps there, if there is a permanent job coming open, they would likely select the best of the temps. That's a lot of temps, and I've found when there are several temps, there's typically no permanent job.
