Why do I buy PC games?

My friends keep me asking why I buy pc games and why I don't download them for free.

I really don't know. Why should someone buy a pc game when it can be torrented for no charge?

Apart from the fact that it's illegal.

    If you are caught pirating, and charged in civil court, the fine could be up to $100,000 per game, if it ends up in criminal court, it can be up to $250,000 per game and up to 5 years in prison

    dont torrent games. you may feel bad about it and regret it. you could get sued, fined, etc

    so you have a legit copy of the game. you have proof of your ownership. And you don't get sent to jail.
