1) BY DATE:: You can narrow down your search for date from the "SEARCH MAIL" bar located in top of the page. Click in the "Search" bar and you will see "Advanced Search" option --> Click on it, click on the down-arrow @ Date --> Select "Custom Date" --> Enter the dates you want search the emails from & to --> Click "SEARCH MAIL. You should see the results of your desired dates.
2) You can follow the same procedure to search for "SENDER" also. OR from the Received Emails --> Click on the "MAGNIFYING GLASS" located between the Sender of the email and the Subject. You will see all the emails you have received from that particular sender.
** NOTE: You can find the Magnifying Glass when the senders' emails are not included in the Conversations (no threads) OR you have disabled Conversations.
