Is a trial docket a trial?

I am scheduled for a trial docket next month. Does that mean that's when I get my trial date or does it mean i am going to trial that day

Update:

Also last I heard they were debating in dropping the charges because the state hasn't been able to get a hold of the plaintiff so I was also wondering if maybe that could be a result of the trial docket.

  • Can you please rephrase Your question , ??? the question was incomprehensible to me

    Thank you

  • A trial Docket means a trial has been scheduled for a specific time on a specific day. The Docket is subject to change by attorneys on both sides. The court clerk may have several small cases scheduled for a day, or several days for a large case.
