Accessories/necessities for new LCD HDTV owner?
My family just purchased a Westinghouse TX-42F430S 42" 1080P LCD HDTV on a steal ($749). I'm not to hip to all the HDMI stuff and other HD features, so I was wondering if you electronic gurus have some tips for me. We use DirecTV and I own a PS3.
Thanks for any suggestions!

PS3 absolutely supports HDMI, use it..
HDMI is a superfast transmission path that transmits both audio and visual through one cable
you may need to upgrade your directv receiver to get the most out of hdtv...
your ps3 supports 1080p and its one of the few things that do. You can only get 1080p out of an HDMI cable so def use it. The component cables will say its using 1080p but it is not. But I would absolutly get the directv hd package its expensive but has so much to offer. If my apt complex would allow it i would've bought it a long time ago.
Depends on what all you want to do....I'd visit the link below and click on the "Home Theatre" link up top....it's a start
