Do you think this sugar daddy is a scam?
So I met this person on a dating app on my phone. He says he's a sugar daddy, but I just want another opinion before I choose to do anything, because he really seems like a great guy, but I know there are a lot of scammers on dating sites.
He says he's on a military business trip deployment, so it sometimes get too busy at times so on a very few occasions, his accountant will make a deposit. He said he can only do check deposits and that if I didn't want to use a personal checking account, we can set up something like a joint savings account, just for us. I told him I'd like to meet with him a few times in person before we start with this. Plus, I'd just love to meet him. So far, if he is a scammer, he's doing a good job of it, because it seems to genuine. We exchanged pics of our faces, and he voiced his concern about having a sugar baby steal from him before.
I know a lot of people will try to talk me out of it with the idea of "prostitution" and stuff, but honestly, he never mentioned sex even once. In my time of online dating, which I admit is only a year or two, people who are looking for a prostitute normally at least ask for sex every "once in a while." We've been communicating for a week or two now, and it hasn't popped up. He seems like a normal person.
But anyway, I just wanted to get other people's opinion as to whether he seems like a scammer or if I should continue and try to meet with him and just play it carefully until we build up some trust.
Update:BTW, he doesn't seem like the usual type of sugar daddy. He is only 34 years old.

Total scam HE is in the military ..They do not pay enough for him to be a sugar daddy...
He's full of chit and don't you dare give him any bank account information.

Scam as %#@%$. I've been scammed by a Sugar Momma before and the keywords are always "Too busy" and "Business Trips" If they give you money to play it safe, make sure you have a paypal account and open a paypal.me link that legit sends money straight to your paypal with you having total control of you're funds. See I was an idiot and gave her my bank account information, but I out smarted her and still got the cash out of the bank, However I had to close that account because it ended up jumping into a negative. Don't cut him off but play it smart. Hooah! Best of luck to you!
