Glad that he remained in the Premiership. He is a world class player at his age and definitely attracts lots of big clubs wanting to sign him. However i feel that he should remain with Manchester United where he performed really well for his team. Premiership plus C.Ronaldo equals excitement.
Well personally I think they all get paid far too much but he is a great player and he deserves a new contract as he has been the player of the season for Man Utd
I think it's great for man utd but rememeber riena signed a 7 year deal with villareal and left a year later, petrov signed a 4 year deal with celtic and left 5 months later. Vieira signed a 4 year deal with Arsenal and left in the summer.
Just because he signed for 5 years, does not mean he will stay for 5 years.

I think Man Utd made a great decision by expanding Ronaldo's contract..
should they wait any longer, I think a lot of big clubs would sign him and offer him big amount of money!
