why prokaryotic do not require a nuclear membrane?

And what happen if eukaryotic lost their nuclear membrane?

Comments

  • they are simple as they don't have any membrane bounded organelle so they don't have any kind of membrane aroun there neuclear material.....

  • Prokaryotes arose prior to eukaryotes. Organelles such as nuclei, mitochondria, etc. hadn't evolved yet, so the first prokaryotes evolved to do without what they never had.

  • because they have no nucleus, therefore, non need for a membrane around it
