Coworker issue?

I moved to a new team, at my manager request, to help that

team, catch up with schedule....

One of the coworkers in that team is very uncooperative...He does not review my stuff...Only after review, i can make progress...

When he reviews, he asks me to fix all the errors which

i am not responsible for....

He questions me a lot and is very bossy....

I am very upset and anxious....Not able to relax and

handle the pressure....

  • Catch him unprepared.....There is a say, that the best moment to approach a superior for a request, is inmediately after lunch....(I did learn that fact in the Army)

Dont be put off by his/her bossy attitudes.-...(that kind of people always use it to cover they own insecurity)...and approach the problem directly, telling him what you dont like,,,in a polite and prudent manner...see how he reacts.

Ifhe is too stubborn, bring the matter confidentially, to his inmediate superior, and so on...

Believe me, you will feel scared. we all do....however it will work wonders...

  • When you submit your work to him, ask for an appropriate timeline to have it returned to you. If it is left up to him, it will take longer for him to get around to it. (A tip from my Human Relations class).

Just do your job to the best of your abilities, and don't sweat the attitudes of others. Evenually you may be his boss. Only good team players move up.

  • I hate this because you have to confront him with a neutral witness. Ask him what the problem is. Make him feel that his opinion counts, and he can help a great deal. GOOD LUCK!

  • I worked with someone like this before. I referred to him as the local drama queen. I had to set him straight, myself. Told him I wasn't going to stand for his bullcrap hypocrisy.
