Is Bio-Spot flea/tick control a good product?

I've searched Y! Answers and I'm getting mixed results.

Some answers that I am seeing say that it's a very dangerous product.

Others say that it worked well and was a cheap replacement for something more costly.

I have a Wheaton terrier mix who is about 80-100 pounds:

And a 120 pound Pointer mix:

Is bio-spot good for my family?

Update:

I have always used frontline, but I was just wondering if its ok to switch

  • It is poisonous garbage. As a matter of fact, Hartz and Sargents are two product names you will never, ever find in my home.

I use Advantage and love it. If you live in an are that has ticks, too, then Frontline Plus is probably the product for you.

    Good luck!

  • Use Frontline or Advantage.

  • Bio-Spot is complete crap. Use Frontline. Bio-Spot has been known to cause seizures.

  • be careful:you can try it, but be ready, if your dog starts itching, rubbing himself against the floor, running up and down:wash him immediately, with shampoo, rinse well!

I tried it once, my dog went crazy!

I rather pay more money, buy the ones from the vet!

My dog never had a reaction to flea drops from the vet(Advantage)
