How do these two processors compare?

The AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+

or the

Intel® Pentium® Dual Core™ T4500 (2.3GHz/800MHz FSB/1MB cache)?

I'm getting a laptop for college. The AMD processor is in my current desktop, the Intel is in the laptop I'm looking at and I'm trying to figure out if it will be good enough for me.
