A "pinkie" can NOT be away from it's mother until it is 6 weeks or older unless you plan on feeding it with an eye dropper every 2 hours around the clock for weeks. Please do not take one away from its mother. It will only have a 12% chance of living even if you devote all your time to it.
If your talking about a rat, there are thousands of websites devoted to rat care and same goes for mice.
You will also need more than one as they are very social animals who crave attention from other rats/mice
It's almost impossible to raise a baby rodent by hand. They need to be fed around the clock and you will need to stimulate their bowels by hand. Unless you can find a surrogate, it might be best to just let nature take its course.
