parking ticket from a private company?
i recieved (what looks like) a parking ticket from a private company. http://www.standardparking.com/
they photographed my license plate and it says i owe money for parking without a permit. my question is can a private company enforce me paying a ticket and/or tow my vehicle from my private residence. i only stopped in the empty parking lot for 5 min to drop something off so i don't plan on going back to that location. i'm curious as to what the repercussions are if i don't pay this? i recieved the ticket in ohio, but i live in pa

If you parked on private property and they are a private firm then they have about zero powers to enforce it.
If you parked on public property, and the city/state hired a private firm to collect revenue then failure to pay will result in a fine, fees and general kick in the groin.
It'll go to collections, the fines will increase, and if you continue to don't pay it, can affect your credit report.
